What's the difference between retail jobs and sales jobs?
Hi. i'm appling for a total of 14 jobs for the past 4 days and I'm wondering what are retail jobs and sales jobs.
sometimes there is no difference. in general: retail jobs are in a store front and pay a specific wage. if you're dealing w/ the public in this job (that is not stocking) then sales of some sort will be involved. sales jobs may or may not be in a store front & they are usually commission based or have a base pay wage with a commission bonus and selling is the main focus of the job.
